Cheese flautas are a typical Mexican dish; you can serve them cut in halves on a tray or whole. Kids love them.

  • 300 grams Manchego cheese
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • pepper , to taste
  • vegetable oil , for frying

  • Form each flauta by filling them with cheese. To secure the tortilla, you can use a toothpick.
  • In a skillet, heat oil to fry the flautas.
  • Fry the flautas until the cheese is melted.
  • Remove excess grease with a paper towel.
