Cheese with Chile Jam

This snack is super simple, quick to make, and ideal for when you have unexpected guests. It has an excellent presentation, yields a lot, and is economical. What more can you ask for?

  • 1 jar apricot jam
  • 2 chipotle chiles
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • cookies, salty or habanero

  • Place the contents of the entire jar of apricot jam, two chipotles, and a bit of the adobo in a blender. (If you want it spicier, feel free to add more chiles.)
  • Pour this mixture over the cream cheese, making sure it is well covered.
  • Microwave for one minute or until it is slightly soft.
  • Serve on a platter accompanied by crackers or slices of baguette.
