Extra Special Nachos

For a super tasty snack, try making these extra special nachos with jalapeño, Monterey Jack cheese, and some other delicious toppings.

  • 4 tomatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cucumber, small
  • 1/2 cups celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups fresh cilantro
  • 2 pickled Jalapeño chiles, chopped and seedless
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons basil
  • 500 grams nachos
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese, shredded

  • Roughly chop the tomatoes and drain them well. Peel the cucumber, remove the seeds, and finely chop it.
  • Mix the tomatoes, cucumber, garlic, onion, and cilantro. Refrigerate for an hour.
  • Mix the jalapeño peppers with the vegetables. Add the lime juice, sugar, salt, and basil.
  • Place the nacho chips in a baking dish and sprinkle them with cheese.
  • Place them in the oven until the cheese melts and serve immediately with the salsa prepared earlier.
