We present to you a spectacular recipe, the delicious sandwich with melted cheese, mushrooms, and caramelized onion. It is a simple recipe with a very rich flavor. You can serve it as a snack or as breakfast or dinner.
Sauté the onion and cook for 15 minutes until caramelized, set aside.
In another skillet, sauté the garlic and add the mushrooms and thyme.
Add the white wine and cook for about 10 minutes until the liquid in the skillet evaporates.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add the finely chopped parsley and mix until everything is well incorporated.
Integrate the cheeses into the skillet with the mushrooms.
Spread a little butter on the Oroweat® Whole Wheat Bread.
Place some of the filling and caramelized onions in each bread and close the sandwich.
Add more butter on the outside of the Oroweat® Whole Wheat Bread and bake the sandwiches at 180°C for 3 minutes until the cheese melts and the bread toasts.
Remove from the oven, let cool for 3 minutes and serve.
