Neapolitan Pizza

This pizza tastes great with the combination of anchovies and black olives, plus the mozzarella cheese gives it a very special flavor.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 350 grams flour
  • 10 grams active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 200 grams onion, slice
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 800 grams tomato , slices
  • 200 grams Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cans anchovy fillet
  • 24 black olives
  • 2 tablespoons oregano

  • Dissolve the yeast in warm milk. Let it rest for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, add the oil.
  • Sift the flour onto a flat surface, make a well in the middle, add the salt, and pour the milk with yeast and oil into the center, mixing as you go.
  • If necessary, add a little more flour to have a sticky dough. Knead it for 8 to 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl and let it rest until it doubles in size.
  • After this time, divide the dough into 2 and place it on 2 pizza trays, flattening it with your fingers or a rolling pin, leaving a higher edge around. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Cook the onions with the oil and place them on the pizzas. Slice the tomatoes thinly and place them on top of the onions, adding salt and pepper.
  • Arrange the cheese slices on the pizzas, place the halved olives and fillets of anchovies. Sprinkle with oregano.
  • Bake in the oven for 25 minutes and serve immediately.
