Spinach Cheese Dip in Bread

1 french country bread, or any large round bread
1/2 cups unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, grated divided into two parts
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 cups spinach, finely chopped

Preheat the oven to 180° C.
Make horizontal cuts in the bread, then make vertical cuts to create a grid pattern. Be careful not to cut all the way through the bread.
Fill the crevices of the bread with ¾ cup of mozzarella. This will keep the bread compact and allow you to add the other ingredients.
Melt the butter in a skillet and add the garlic. Incorporate the spinach.
Carefully place the spinach mixture on top of the mozzarella cheese inside the bread.
Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover the bread and leave it in the oven for 2 more minutes.
