Thread each strip of chicken onto the skewer, making sure to do it in a zig-zag pattern to create a sort of spiral. If you prefer, cut the chicken into cubes and insert them one by one.
Place them on a grill, in the oven, or in a pan. Season with salt and pepper and garlic salt. Cook until done (approximately 10 minutes).
Put the barbecue sauce in the blender along with the chipotles.
Heat the barbecue sauce in the microwave for 1 minute. Brush each skewer with this sauce and serve.
