Stuffed Onion Rings with Chicken

We gave these onion rings a twist by adding chicken and breading them to give you that crunch you love; in addition, they are accompanied by a creamy green salsa, making it impossible to resist their flavor.

  • Mix the ground chicken with parsley, Herdez® creamy spicy green salsa, cilantro, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined and set aside.
  • Cut slightly thick onion rings, about 1 cm thick. Set aside.
  • Fill the rings with the ground chicken mixture and press so that the center is well compacted. Freeze for 20 minutes. Set aside.
  • Dip the onion rings in the beaten egg, remove the excess, and coat with breadcrumbs, pressing to ensure the breadcrumbs adhere well. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a deep pan over low heat and fry the onion rings for 10 minutes, being careful not to move them too much. Place on absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Set aside.
  • Serve the stuffed onion rings with chicken accompanied by Herdez® creamy spicy green salsa.
