Stuffed Wings

  • 2 cups cream cheese, in medium cubes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt

  • 8 Jalapeño chiles, clean
  • 8 chicken wings, boneless
  • 1 cup flour
  • salt

  • 4 eggs, scrambled
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • vegetable oil, for frying the wings
  • habanero mango salsa, for the wings
  • dressing, for accompaniment
  • carrot, in strips, for accompaniment
  • celery, in strips, for accompaniment

  • In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth. Fill each of the jalapeños with the mixture and set aside. Then, insert the jalapeño into the wing, but if the hole is small, cut the jalapeño so it fits well and doesn’t fall out. Repeat this step with all the wings.
  • Mix the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl. Dredge the wings in this mixture, coating them perfectly.
  • Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat and fry the wings for 10 minutes or until well browned. Remove from heat.
  • Place the stuffed wings in a bowl, pour the mango habanero sauce over them, and mix.
  • Serve the stuffed wings on a plate and accompany with dressing, carrots, and celery.
