2 tablespoons chipotle chile in adobo sauce, finely chopped
2 cups cheddar cheese
1/3 cups chives, finely chopped

Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F).
Blend the chickpeas in a large bowl. Add the cream cheese, sour cream, and chipotle peppers; mix well. Reserve 1/2 cup of the cheese and refrigerate for later use. Combine the remaining cheese with the chickpea mixture. Place the mixture in a greased baking dish.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and add the cheese you reserved. Bake for 5 more minutes or until the cheese melts.
Garnish with green onions.
