Mash the canned tomatoes with a fork until they become purée; it's okay if there are whole pieces, as this will add texture to the dish.
Heat a pot with olive oil, sauté the onion and garlic. Add the ground meat, breaking it apart well with a wooden spoon to avoid forming meatballs. Season with black pepper, cayenne pepper, cumin, oregano, salt, and paprika.
After 5 minutes, the meat should turn brown; at that moment, add the crushed tomatoes along with their juice.
Cook on low heat for 10 minutes, add 1 cup of water. Adjust the seasoning and add the beans with a bit of their cooking broth.
Let cook for 5 more minutes. Serve immediately mounted on pieces of bread, toasts, or crackers with a bit of grated cheese on top.
