Cilantro Lemon Mousse

Prepare this delicious and creamy cilantro mousse that will be perfect for snacking. It has a smooth consistency and an intense cilantro flavor with a hint of lemon.

  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh cilantro, only the leaves
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 package Great Value® cream cheese
  • 1/4 packages Extra Special Goat Cheese®
  • 3/4 cups whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, for decoration
  • 1 package saltine crackers, to accompany

  • Hydrate the gelatin with water and let it sit for 5 minutes. Melt in the microwave for 10 seconds, mix, and set aside.
  • Blend the cilantro with the zest, cream cheese, goat cheese, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  • While blending, add the gelatin in a thin stream. Blend until you have a homogeneous mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased or silicone mold and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until set.
  • Unmold, garnish with cilantro, and serve with crackers. Buy HERE
