Hake is a very healthy and nutritious white fish, and you can use it to make this recipe. Croquettes are very popular with kids and are a good way to get them to eat peas.

We chop the onion into very small pieces and sauté it slowly in a pan with a little olive oil.
When it's ready, we add the hake, a pinch of salt, and cook it together with the onion.
We cook the peas in a little salted water and then shell them.
We drain the hake well and mix the fish with the milk to make a paste.
With our hands, we will make balls of hake and place a pea in the center.
We tightly close the balls and coat them.
We first coat the balls in flour, then in well-beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs.
Before frying them, we will put them in the freezer for a while to make them a bit firm.
We fry them in olive oil over medium heat.
