Spicy Dip Ring

This ring is an ideal dip option for the holiday season, as it is made with cheese and has a spicy touch that everyone loves. Additionally, it is decorated with Búfalo® olives, rosemary, and peppers.

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 1 1/2 cups bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup serrano chile, chopped
  • 3 cups cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cups chives, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 jar Buffalo® Pitted Olives, 215 g, drained
  • rosemary, in sprigs, for decoration
  • 1/2 cups red bell pepper, in cubes, for decoration

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, add the butter, onion, and garlic, and sauté for 3 minutes. Add the bacon and cook for an additional 5 minutes or until golden. Add the serrano chili and cook for 3 more minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, paprika, garlic powder, green onions, and the serrano chili mixture you prepared earlier. Season with salt and pepper.
  • On a board, gradually pour the dip to form a ring. Place a sheet of plastic wrap on top and finish forming the ring with your hands.
  • Refrigerate the dip ring for 30 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the plastic from the ring on the plate or board where you will present it so you don’t have to move it again.
  • Add Búfalo® Pitted Olives, sprigs of rosemary, and pieces of bell pepper over the entire ring to give it color.
  • Serve the spicy dip ring and accompany it with crackers.
