Easy Garlic Sticks

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dry yeast
  • 1 cup water, Warm
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, chopped

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  • Mix the sugar, yeast, and warm water in a bowl until lumps are dissolved and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
  • Mix the flour, salt, and garlic powder in a bowl, then add the oil and the previous mixture. Knead.
  • Let the dough rest in a greased bowl for about 30 minutes or until it doubles in size.
  • Roll out the dough into a tube and cut to the desired length of the stick.
  • Place the sticks on a greased baking tray.
  • Melt the butter with the chopped garlic in the microwave for 1 minute.
  • Brush each stick with a brush or spoon and bake for 10 minutes on each side.
  • Remove them from the oven and brush again with the butter and garlic mixture.
