Economical Empanadas

Prepare some delicious, super economical, and easy-to-make empanadas, and surprise everyone with these ground beef-filled empanadas.

  • 2 tablespoons Knorr® beef bouillon
  • 1 kilo flour
  • 1/2 kilos vegetable shortening
  • 1 beer , at room temperature
  • 500 grams ground meat
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped
  • 100 grams olives, finely chopped

  • Sift flour into a bowl.
  • Add lard and start kneading.
  • Incorporate the beer at room temperature until the dough is uniform and let it rest.
  • Preheat the oven to 175°C.
  • Roll out the dough and cut circles of desired size.
  • Sauté the finely chopped onion until translucent.
  • Season the meat with Knorr Beef Broth Flavor and add the olives and meat to the onion.
  • Fill the dough circles with the meat and close each empanada.
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and serve.
