Oyster Pickle

  • 2 cups corn oil, or olive oil

  • In hot oil, sauté the onion with the garlic.
  • Add the bay leaf, pepper, garlic salt, and vinegar.
  • Let it season for about five minutes, add the oysters and bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.
