1 kilo shellfish, (oysters)
2 cups corn oil, or olive oil
2 onions, large, julienned
6 cloves garlic
6 leaves bay, small
pepper, to taste
1 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons garlic salt, or to taste

In hot oil, sauté the onion with the garlic.
Add the bay leaf, pepper, garlic salt, and vinegar.
Let it season for about five minutes, add the oysters and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and let cool.
