Hawaiian Pastries

Prepare these delicious ham pastries with pineapple and tomato sauce for your children's lunch. They are very crispy and also have a touch of gouda cheese that makes them different and delicious. Serve them warm or at room temperature, they will love them.

  • 500 grams puff pastry
  • 3/4 cups Extra Special® tomato paste sauce and gorgonzola cheese
  • 150 grams Gouda cheese
  • 1 cup deli ham, in cubes
  • 1 cup canned pineapple, in small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 150 grams Gouda cheese
  • 1 egg

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Roll out the puff pastry with a rolling pin and cut rectangles of 10 x 7cm.
  • Form the pastries by spreading a little tomato sauce on one of the rectangles, being careful not to reach the edges. Add a slice of gouda cheese, ham, pineapple, and season with oregano.
  • Brush the edges with egg and cover with another rectangle of puff pastry. Repeat until you finish the puff pastry.
  • Brush all the rectangles with egg and place on a baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot or at room temperature. Buy HERE
