Homemade Onion Rings

Simple recipe for delicious and crispy onion rings.

  • 1/4 cups milk 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cups cornstarch
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon dry chicken broth or bouillon

  • Cut the onion into rings and then soak them in ice water for an hour.
  • Put the egg and milk in a bowl and whisk them.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, bread crumbs, cornstarch, and chicken broth powder, then mix everything.
  • Dip the rings in the egg and milk mixture and then in the bread crumb mixture. Afterwards, fry in hot oil until they have a golden color, remove, place on paper towels, and serve.
