Fried Bean Burritos

  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 100 grams pinto beans
  • 200 grams unsalted butter
  • Jalapeño chiles, to taste

  • Warm the tortillas a little. Just enough to make them easier to fold.
  • Preheat the skillet on the fire for a few minutes (1 to 3 minutes).
  • Spread the butter on one of the tortillas (approximately 1/2 tablespoon).
  • Place about 4 tablespoons of previously cooked beans, desired chili strips, and salt to taste inside the same tortilla.
  • In the preheated skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter. Wait for it to melt.
  • Fold the tortilla with beans into a burrito shape and tuck the ends inward.
  • Place the burrito in the skillet with butter and wait for 5 to 6 minutes until the tortilla is golden brown but not burnt.
