Mexican Meat Huaraches

Typical of Mexico, it's delicious, flavorful, and healthy. You can add a sauce or make one with tomato, onion, chili, and spices, or buy it in stores.

  • 1/2 kilos beef , in pieces
  • 2 tomatillos
  • 1/2 onions
  • 1 chile, or more, optional
  • 2 drops soy
  • salt , and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups masa harina
  • 1/3 teaspoons salt
  • water
  • lettuce
  • cream

  • For the meat: fry the meat, then add the tomato, onion, and chili until cooked. Finally, add salt, pepper, and soy sauce.
  • For the dough: mix the dough in a bowl with salt and water until it becomes a soft dough; roll it into small logs, flatten them, and place them on a griddle over low heat.
  • Serve the meat, add lettuce, tomato, and cream, and you're done.
