Onion Rings with Curry

  • 2 yellow onion, sliced thin
  • 500 milliliters lager beer
  • 20 grams curry powder, red
  • 300 grams wheat flour
  • 30 grams granulated sugar
  • 10 grams salt
  • 2 grams baking powder
  • 2 grams ground white pepper
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • Preheat the oil to 190 °C.
  • Mix the curry, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, pepper, and egg white in a bowl. Then add 300 ml of beer and whisk until smooth.
  • Put the remaining beer in a bowl and soak the onion rings, then drain and coat with flour.
  • Coat them with the flour mixture and fry for 2 minutes, then remove and let drain.
  • Give them a second cooking and enjoy.
