Porcupine Snack Platter

Beautiful porcupine-shaped snack platter for your gatherings. Kids won't stop eating vegetables; they'll love pulling out the quills.

  • 1 package wholemeal bread
  • 1/2 kilos carrot
  • 1 bunch celery
  • 1 cucumber
  • black olives
  • cherry tomatoes
  • leaves green lettuce

  • Remove the edges of the slices of bread; the number will depend on how big you want to make the porcupine.
  • Knead with your hands to shape each part of the body. Use my photograph as a guide.
  • Cut sticks from each vegetable and carefully insert them into the back of the body.
  • Cut an olive in half and place it as a nose.
  • Slice two olives in half and use them as eyes. Do the same with the cherry tomato.
  • Place a bed of green lettuce to bring life to the dish and make it look like a forest.
  • Serve with your kids' favorite dressing.
