Puff Pastry Pillows

This delicious recipe came to me because kids love everything more personalized; it's something tasty that can be eaten cold or hot, accompanied by some delicious tomatoes with lemon, salt, and pepper.

  • 150 grams puff pastry
  • 4 slices turkey breast
  • 1 cup Manchego cheese, grated
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 lemon
  • salt , to taste
  • pepper, to taste

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Flour the table where you will work with the dough and roll it out to form a square about half a centimeter thick, as seen in photo no. 3
  • Cut the square into 4 squares as shown in photo no. 4
  • Start by placing a slice of turkey breast, then grated cheese, and place another slice of turkey breast on top, Photo no. 5
  • Close the squares by taking one corner towards the center and so on, sealing with beaten egg on the edges to make it stick, as shown in photo no. 6
  • Place the puff pastries on a previously greased baking tray and put them in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  • Cut the tomato into a flower shape.
  • add a few drops of lemon, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the tomato in a separate container as it releases juice and the puff pastries in another container.
  • Pack it in the lunchbox alongside a tasty apple and a bottle of water.
