Quesillo in Sauce

Recipe for delicious Oaxaca cheese in green sauce, serve it with tortillas, tostadas, or on its own. It's a great recipe for breakfast and easy to make.

  • 1 sprig epazote 1 sprig epazote

  • On a griddle, roast the tomatoes, onion, and chiles.
  • Blend the tomatoes, chile, onion, and part of the epazote.
  • In a pot with a little hot oil, fry the sauce and season with salt.
  • Add the cheese and remove from heat.
