  • 2 cans canned tuna in water
  • 1/4 romaine lettuces , chopped
  • 1 cucumber, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 lemon , (juice)
  • salt , to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 8 slices wholemeal bread

  • Thaw La Huerta peas in the microwave.
  • Drain the liquid from the tuna cans.
  • Mix all the ingredients, excluding the bread, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Spread ¼ of the tuna salad on a slice of bread, fresh or toasted, cover with another slice and cut diagonally in half.
