Hibiscus and Oat Cakes

  • 1/2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cups amaranth
  • 1/2 cups hibiscus flower, dehydrated
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

  • 100 grams panela cheese

  • Boil the hibiscus in boiling water, let it rest and drain.
  • On the other hand, beat 3 eggs and incorporate cinnamon, sugar, and nutmeg with a pinch of salt.
  • Add the oats, amaranth, and hibiscus with 100 grams of panela cheese cut into small cubes.
  • Spray a skillet with PAM, use a spoon to take the mixture and place it in the hot skillet to form the patties. Once golden, flip and brown the other side.
