  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomato, poached and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tomato purée
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chile powder
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 4 sausages, German
  • 4 slices serrano ham
  • 1 package Villaggio® Italian style hot dog bun
  • 1/2 yellow bell peppers, diced
  • 1/2 red bell peppers, diced
  • 1/2 green bell peppers, diced
  • 1/2 cups red cabbage, sliced

  • Wrap the sausages in Serrano ham.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, add, and cook the sausages until golden brown. Set aside.
  • For the sauce, in a medium skillet heat the oil, add the onion and garlic.
  • Add the tomato, tomato puree, paprika, chili powder, sugar, and cook for 5 minutes or until thickened.
  • Place the sausages on an Italian-style hot dog bun from Villaggio®, add the peppers and red cabbage.
  • Serve and accompany with the spicy sauce.
