Mexican Torta

Delicious and traditional Mexican torta, this torta includes fresh Oaxaca cheese, chorizo, and delicious refried beans.

  • 300 grams Oaxaca cheese
  • 1/4 red onions
  • 3 chorizos, smoked
  • 1 sprig fresh cilantro
  • 4 telera rolls
  • 6 tablespoons refried beans
  • 1 avocado

  • Shred the Oaxaca cheese and slice the red onion into julienne strips.
  • Chop the chorizo and pick the cilantro leaves.
  • Brown the chorizo in a skillet and divide into 4 portions.
  • Place the beans in a skillet and heat them along with the chorizo.
  • Cut the teleras in half and spread them with the beans and chorizo.
  • Add the Oaxaca cheese on top.
  • Add some slices of avocado and cilantro leaves.
  • Cover the torta with the top and heat it in a skillet.
