Pastor Meat Torta

This is a traditional Mexican pastor torta, prepare it and be amazed by its great flavor; you can accompany the torta with slices of grilled pineapple.

  • 500 grams pork, in fajitas
  • 2 tablespoons achiote
  • 1/2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4 bolillo rolls
  • 2 slices pineapple, grilled
  • 1/4 red onions, chopped
  • 4 sprigs fresh cilantro
  • salt

  • Dissolve the achiote in the pineapple juice and add the meat.
  • Season with salt and let marinate in the refrigerator for 5 minutes.
  • Cook the meat over medium heat until it is cooked through.
  • Cut the bolillos in half.
  • Distribute the meat in the bread, add the pineapple, onion, and cilantro.
