Stuffed Ham and Cheese

It is a different version of the traditional sandwich. Everyone will love it and it is ideal for a picnic, school, and work.

  • 8 slices sandwich bread, whole grain or white
  • 3 slices deli ham
  • 3 slices American cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • vegetable oil, as needed
  • 2 eggs
  • salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cow's milk

  • Chop the ham and cheese into very small cubes. Once well chopped, add the cream.
  • Cut the edges of the bread.
  • On a slice of bread, put a little of the mixture, just in the center.
  • Place another slice of bread on top, seal the edges very well, making sure they are tightly compressed.
  • Break the eggs and pour them into a slightly flat plate, add the milk and salt. Mix everything very well.
  • Dip each of the stuffed sandwiches in the egg mixture.
  • In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat, place the stuffed sandwich and let it brown on each side and ensure the edges are well cooked.
