Snack Meatballs

Prepare these meatballs for snacking; their delicious sweet and sour flavor will delight you, the perfect snack to enjoy during the Super Bowl.

  • 1 cup ground beef
  • 1 cup ground pork
  • 1/4 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Great Value® canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cups soy sauce
  • 1/3 cups Great Value® raw sugar
  • 1 stem of spring onion , finely chopped
  • sesame seeds
  • salt and pepper

  • In a bowl, place the ground beef and ground pork, add the breadcrumbs, egg yolk, parsley, ginger, and mix until well combined. Refrigerate and set aside.
  • Form bite-sized balls.
  • In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat and fry the meatballs until golden brown. Set aside.
  • For the sauce, in a small pot, heat the teriyaki sauce, add the soy sauce, add the brown sugar, and cook for 10 minutes. Add the meatballs and let cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Serve with skewers; for garnish, add sesame seeds and green onion tops. Buy HERE
