Spinach Tart with Cashew Nuts

  • 1 1/2 cups cashews
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 1 lime
  • 1 garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/8 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 1 bunch spinach, cut
  • 1/4 cups rice flour
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cups water
  • salt and pepper

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C
  • In a food processor, crush the nuts, add the water, lemon, garlic, and onion powder.
  • For the filling, in a medium skillet, add the onion, add the spinach, season with salt and pepper. Place the spinach in a bowl and add the nut mixture and the rice flour. Set aside.
  • For the dough, mix all the dry ingredients and add the oil and water.
  • In a tart pan, spread the dough and add the filling, bake for 25 minutes.
