Stuffed Sausages

Delicious stuffed sausages with cheese and pickled chilies. They are the perfect snack for your gatherings, as their spicy and rich flavor will be the sensation among your guests. They are easy to prepare and will have you serving the best snack in no time.

  • 1/2 kilos sausage, (chimex)
  • 1/2 kilos mennonite cheese (Chihuahua cheese), (it can be another hard cheese)
  • 1 can pickled chiles, slices
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup flour
  • olive oil , or vegetable oil

  • Beat the egg whites until they are stiff peaks. Cut cheese sticks.
  • In each sausage, put a stick of cheese and a slice of chili, roll the sausage, and secure it with a toothpick.
  • Dip the sausages in the beaten egg whites and introduce them into the hot oil.
  • Remove from the skillet when they are golden brown and place on paper towels or in a strainer to remove excess fat.
