Breaded Scallops

A quick and delicious dish to prepare breaded scallops with coarse cornmeal. Breadcrumbs can also be used if preferred.

  • 1 tablespoon corn masa flour
  • 2 teaspoons fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 1/8 teaspoons black pepper
  • 3/4 kilos ax callus
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons butter

  • Mix the cornmeal, coriander, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Place the scallops on the mixture to coat them well.
  • Heat the olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the scallops to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes. Carefully flip them and cook for another minute (or until cooked through).
