Nothing like pairing a delicious breaded sushi with the famous tampico sauce that always carries Japanese food. It is easier and cheaper than you think! With this breaded sushi recipe you will learn how to make it from scratch and you will be delighted by the taste of this delicious Japanese roll.
For the rice, in a saucepan add water, sugar, rice and the rice vinegar. Cover and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes. It cools.
Place the surimi in a processor and crush until it is very finely consistent.
In a bowl mix the surimi, the mayonnaise, the onion, the chilies and the sesame oil until obtaining a homogeneous mixture. Reserve in the refrigerator.
On a bamboo mat with non-stick plastic, place the nori seaweed and cover the rice with your wet hands, turn and fill with the tampico.
Roll up and press down to form the sushi roll. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
For the breading, cover the roll with flour, followed by egg and bread with the breadcrumbs. Fry in the oil for 5 minutes and place on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
Cut the roll into slices 1 cm wide. Serve hot and accompany with soy sauce.
