Creamy Tuna Casserole

  • 6 cups egg noodle, medium egg noodles, dried, prepared according to package instructions
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 stems celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cups white onion , chopped
  • 2 cans tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom, condensed soup
  • 1 can milk chocolate
  • 2/3 cups potato chips, crumbled

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F.
  • Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
  • Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  • Sauté the celery and onion, stirring occasionally for 1 to 2 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  • Add the noodles, tuna, soup, and evaporated milk, mixing well.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with potato chips.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the potato chips are golden.
