600 grams white fish fillet, tilapia type
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking soda
1 cup water
3 cups vegetable oil
1/4 cups mayonnaise
1/4 cups sour cream
1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 tablespoons garlic
3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
8 corn tortillas, or flour tortillas
1/2 heads white cabbage, shredded
pepper, to taste

Cut the fish into thick cubes.
In a deep bowl, mix the flour, a pinch of salt, and baking soda. Gradually add water and mix until a liquid batter forms.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over high heat for 5 minutes.
Dip the fish in the batter and fry in the oil until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes.
Remove the fish from the oil and dry with paper towels to remove excess grease.
In a deep bowl, make the special sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sour cream, Tabasco, lemon juice, minced garlic, and cilantro.
Heat the tortillas on a griddle or in a microwave and assemble the tacos.
For each taco, place a handful of shredded cabbage, 3-4 pieces of fish, and 2 tablespoons of the special sauce.
