Parmesan Fish Fillet

A different and healthy way to eat fish with ingredients you can find at home. Dare to try it, it's very healthy and can be a change from what you usually eat.

  • 1 kilo fish fillet , to your liking
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cups unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • fines herbs, to your liking (basil, rosemary, oregano, parsley)
  • salt , to taste
  • pepper, to taste

  • Preheat your oven. Grease a baking tray or line it with aluminum foil.
  • Season your fish fillets to your liking.
  • Mix the parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, and lemon juice in a small bowl. Season with the herbs of your choice, pepper, and salt.
  • Arrange the fish fillets, without overlapping, in the greased tray. Bake about 15 centimeters from the oven broiler for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the fillets and bake for a couple more minutes. Remove the fillets from the oven and cover the surface with the parmesan sauce. Place under the oven broiler for 2 more minutes or until the parmesan topping has browned and the fish can be flaked easily with a fork. Be careful not to cook the fish longer than necessary.
