BBQ Spring Tacos

This is a medium difficulty recipe that is very enjoyable as a snack or as a main dish; it all depends on individual taste.

  • 8 fish fillets
  • 1 tub Hunt's ® BBQ chipotle sauce
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 8 flour tortillas
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 escarole lettuce
  • oil

  • Mix 2 cups of flour, salt, and baking powder to form a light batter and set aside.
  • Coat the fish fillets in flour and dip them in the batter you set aside earlier. Fry in oil until golden brown, keeping an eye on them and turning them occasionally; set aside.
  • Wrap the fillets in the tortilla; once fried with the flour. Brush them with Hunt's ® Chipotle BBQ Sauce and set aside. When you finish brushing all the fillets, fry them with a little oil just until the flour tortilla is lightly browned.
  • Wash and disinfect the lettuce, place some leaves on each plate, and top with a taco. Enjoy this delicious snack.
