Beer-Battered Fish Tacos

  • 500 grams Gamesa® pancake mix
  • 1 kilo fish fillet, rockot
  • 1 can beer
  • 2 eggs, white
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/3 cups mustard
  • 1 cabbage
  • mayonnaise
  • ketchup

  • Wash the fish fillet well, then cut it into small strips approximately 5 centimeters long and 1 centimeter wide.
  • To prepare the mixture, in a medium-sized bowl, add pancake flour, oregano, mustard, eggs, and finally, the beer, whisk well with a hand mixer on medium speed until there are no lumps.
  • Once the mixture is ready, add the previously cut pieces of fish and beat with a fork until all the pieces are mixed with the mixture.
  • Fry in a medium skillet over high heat with approximately 1/2 cup of your preferred oil, add the pieces and brown them. Then let the oil in the fried fish pieces absorb in a medium container with paper towels.
  • Heat corn tortillas and spread a little mayonnaise on each one, add 1 or 2 pieces of fish, cabbage to taste, ketchup, and it's ready to serve.
