Cilantro-Lemon Fish Fillets

  • 4 fish fillets, Great Value® Chopa
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 4 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 limes, (its juice)
  • 2 teaspoons lime zest
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil, Great Value®
  • 4 cups cow's milk, Great Value®
  • Great Value® vegetable oil

  • Marinate the fillets in milk for at least 1 hour before cooking.
  • Remove the fillets from the milk, dry, and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Grease a pan with a little vegetable oil and sear the fillets on both sides over high heat (about 1 minute per side).
  • Remove the fish from the pan and lower the heat. Add the olive oil, garlic, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add the white wine, cilantro, and lemon zest. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Heat the sauce until it begins to boil and remove from heat.
  • Marinate the seared fish in the sauce and finish cooking on a grill or in a pan for 3 more minutes on each side. Add more sauce over the fish while cooking.
  • Serve immediately.
