Hake with Tomato

  • 1 cup button mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 piece onion
  • 1/2 glasses dry white wine
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons tomato , crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • First, place a skillet or a saucepan with olive oil and chopped onion.
  • Cook over medium heat until the onion is tender and golden.
  • Once the onion is translucent, add the washed mushrooms and the tomato. Sauté for about 8 minutes.
  • Once the tomato is fried, pour in the white wine and a splash of water. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Continue cooking and add the fish fillets. Stir gently so they don’t break, and brown both sides for about 10 minutes each.
  • Finally, serve hot.
