Mandarin Salmon

Delicious salmon fillet with a touch of mandarin, honey, and pineapple.

  • 4 salmon fillet
  • 4 pineapples, in slices
  • 2 cups mandarin orange juice
  • 1/2 cups honey
  • 1 centimeter ginger
  • 1 anise , star
  • chunks cinnamon
  • 10 hibiscus flowers
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cube salt
  • 1 pepper , to taste

  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper and let them rest in a baking dish. Place each one on a slice of pineapple.
  • In a pot, boil the mandarin juice with honey, ginger, star anise, cinnamon, hibiscus, and soy sauce until the sauce reduces by half, about 20 minutes.
  • Strain the sauce and pour over the salmon fillets. Bake at 180 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot, drizzled with the sauce.
