Salmon Burgers

A very tasty burger made with salmon. This is a spectacular recipe for Lent as it brings an innovative flavor to the table without using meat.

  • 1 kilo salmon fillet
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons dill, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt , to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • mayonnaise, for accompaniment

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  • Chop the salmon fillet manually or with a food processor. Combine the salmon, egg, breadcrumbs, dill, and salt in a deep bowl.
  • Form 8 burgers with your hands.
  • Cook the burgers in a pan with a little oil, 5 minutes on each side.
  • Serve the burgers on hamburger buns, accompanied by mayonnaise.
