Salmon with Watercress Mayonnaise

Salmon is a rich source of high biological value proteins, with a delicious flavor of watercress mayonnaise.

  • 1 salmon fillet, fresh, approximately 1 1/2 kilos
  • 90 grams unsalted butter , softened
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 120 grams watercress, without thick stems
  • 300 grams mayonnaise
  • fresh thyme
  • fresh parsley
  • lemon juice , 1 piece
  • salt , and pepper

  • Place the salmon on a baking tray and cover it with butter. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Around the salmon, place the previously disinfected thyme and parsley. Drizzle the salmon and herbs with white wine and cover the tray with aluminum foil.
  • Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake at 180ºC for 20 to 30 minutes. When ready, remove the tray from the oven and arrange only the salmon on a serving platter.
  • To prepare the watercress mayonnaise, blend the mayonnaise with the previously washed watercress and the lemon juice.
  • Finally, with the help of a spoon or a piping bag, decorate the salmon with the watercress mayonnaise.
  • To serve, accompany the salmon with fresh watercress and lemon slices as a garnish.
