Smoked Salmon Appetizer

If you like dips and smoked salmon, this impressive ring filled with a smooth and creamy cream cheese dip with olives, capers, scallions, a bit of cucumber, whole grain mustard, and a delicate layer of avocado will become your favorite.

  • 4 cups cream cheese, cut into cubes, for the dip
  • 1/2 cups green olives, finely chopped for the dip
  • 3 tablespoons capers, finely chopped for the dip
  • 1/3 cups chives, finely chopped for the dip
  • 1 cup cucumber, cut into small cubes for the dip
  • 3 tablespoons old style mustard, for dip
  • 2 tablespoons salsa macha
  • 1/4 cups smoked oysters, finely chopped for dip
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper, for dip
  • 2 avocados, cut into slices
  • 500 grams smoked salmon, to cover the dip
  • 2 cups arugula, for decoration
  • crackers, to accompany

  • For the dip, in a bowl mix the cream cheese with the olives, capers, scallions, cucumber, whole grain mustard, spicy sauce, smoked oysters, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • On a board covered with non-stick plastic, place the dip in a ring shape, slightly flatten it with the help of a spatula or plastic, place the avocado slices and cover with more dip, using the plastic and your hands to form the ring, refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Remove from refrigeration, cover with the salmon slices, decorate with arugula, yellow lemon, capers, and serve with bread croutons.
