Shrimp in Tequila with Árbol Chili

These delicious jumbo shrimp are sautéed with a tequila sauce, árbol chili, and honey.

16 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
10 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons árbol chile, chopped
1/4 cups Tequila, 100% agave
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic
salt

Marinate the shrimp in honey in a baking dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before starting to cook.
In a large skillet, heat the oil and sauté the garlic for 1 minute. Add the árbol chili and sauté for 1 more minute.
Add the honey-marinated shrimp and cook for 1 minute on each side.
Add the tequila and let the shrimp cook for 2 more minutes, allowing the tequila to evaporate. Remove from heat.
Season with salt and pepper and serve.
