Avocado, Mango, and Shrimp Cocktail

For this Lent, it's good to have many food options. Here I share a very fresh and delicious recipe, easy to prepare for beginners and those who enjoy trying new foods and interesting flavors.

  • 2 cups shrimp, for cocktail
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 mango, in cubes
  • 1/2 onions, finely chopped in cubes
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tomatillo, diced
  • 1/2 cups lime juice
  • 1/2 cups olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

  • Combine in a deep bowl the lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix in a deep bowl the shrimp, onion, tomato, and mango.
  • Add the lemon juice and oil to the mixture and fold gently. Finally, add the cilantro and avocado to avoid mashing the avocado and creating a mixture.
