Breaded Shrimp with Jalapeño Dressing

Prepare these delicious breaded shrimp with Bimbo® classic breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese, accompanied by a creamy roasted jalapeño dressing. They are the perfect snack for any gathering of friends.

  • 1 cup classic Bimbo® ground bread
  • 1/4 cups Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper
  • flour
  • 2 cups shrimp, clean and peeled, with tail
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 3 Jalapeño chiles, deveined and seedless
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

  • In a bowl, mix the Bimbo® classic breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese and oregano.
  • On the side, beat the egg and season with salt and pepper.
  • Bread the shrimp by passing them through flour, egg, and the Bimbo® classic breadcrumbs mixture.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little cooking spray. Cook the breaded shrimp until golden and well-cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • In a hot griddle, roast the jalapeño peppers.
  • For the dressing, blend the roasted peppers with cilantro, lime juice, sour cream, cream cheese, and olive oil for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the shrimp with the dressing and enjoy.
